Hello! I’m Akirah Robinson. And when women forget how brave their hearts are, I’m here to remind them.
More specifically? I help women heal their hearts and deepen their self-worth.
I am a licensed social worker which basically means is that I rock at helping people. While in graduate school, I gained several years of experience counseling survivors of domestic violence. In addition to completing forty hours of domestic violence training for certified advocates, I have also completed forty hours of crisis intervention training. All of this experience comes in handy when I counsel women who are trying to heal.
As a relationship writer, my work has been featured many different places and I’ve also recently completed and released my first book, Respected: How One Word Can Change More Than Just Your Love Life.
Interested in coaching, therapy, or scheduling an interview with me? You can learn more about working with me here. If you have any additional questions about my services, you can contact me by filling out the form below.
Please note, I receive an overwhelming number of emails requesting advice and unfortunately, due to my own time constraints, I cannot answer each one personally. For personal questions or 1-on-1 feedback, I encourage you to sign up for a Heart Dump Session or Love Letters Email Coaching. Either service will provide you my full attention and deep, clarity-providing wisdom. You may also want to read past articles I’ve written, listed at the bottom of this page.
Lastly, if you are struggling with suicidal thoughts, I strongly urge you to contact the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline immediately at 1-800-273-8255.
